Kikambala Aid Trust

to provide water, electricity and sanitation in Kikambala villages  




Kikambala Aid Trust was started in July 2006 by Dave and Hazel Marshall.

The trustees for the charity are

Dave Marshall                             based in UK

Dave is a qualified building surveyor. He has now retired from an international food production company. He now has a small local part time job.

Since his school days Dave has always been interested in amateur dramatics. He still treads the boards for local charity productions.

 He is a past coxswain and crew member of the local independant lifeboat. He was vice chair and is still a member of the directors.

His home and family are an important part of his life.

Hazel Marshall                            based in UK

I am a retired Headteacher.

 I have also been involved with the local lifeboat for many years. I was chair of the Friends committee and also a director. I am not an actress but assist with local amateur productions.

The church and my Christian faith are central to my life.

 Our children although now grown up are very important as are my new extended Kenyan 'family' We are delighted to spend time with family including our 2 grand-daughters and one grandson.

Francis Mureh Mghangah           based in Kenya

Francis is a taxi driver based near Sun and Sand. He is very active at Kikambala Catholic Church and a keen choir member. His home is on the family homestead in the village of Kadzengo. He lives with his wife and  daughter (born May 2008) and son (born 2012) Other family members who live on the homestead are a big part of the family life. Francis is a trustee for the Kikambala Children's Home.                      

He is a very strong Chelsea supporter!!!
