Grand Christmas draw at Heinz, Westwick. Many thanks to management for allowing us to hold this at the factory.

Sunday October 11th. We have another quiz organised at The Black Swan, North Walsham. With another raffle we hope this will be equally successful. 3 teams took part in our quiz. We raised £50 at this event. Thanks to all involved.

Sept 2009    We held a quiz at the White Swan, North Walsham on the August Bank holiday.4 teams took part. We held a raffle which was also suppoted by Heinz employees. Altogether we raised £120.

Kevin Read has walked; on a tredmill at the gym; the distance from Nairobi to Mombasa. Kevin is based in the US. Many thanks Kev.

Taste of Kenya evening  authentic foods of Kenya. A great success. A three course meal was served to 30 people. The menu was suggested by the Kenyan tourist board. A typical restaurant meal. I also made Ugali and Maize and beans with coconut sauce. Most people tried these. Including a raffle £230 was raised.

4th. September 2008            Sponsored 'cycle ride'. Barclays Bank, North Walsham, Norfolk. Organised by bank staff. A whole day event displaying information and photos. Dave and I will be available from 9am until 4pm at the branch. A raffle will be held.

A successful event. Thanks to Barclays bank staff for their cycle ride. Approx £370 was raised on the day to be matched by Barclays Bank.The money has already been spent!!!

 

7th September       Bournemouth     Football tournament.

2010     Dave plans to climb/walk Mount Kilimanjiro as a sponsored event. Anyone wishing to join him please contact us. More datails later. This is likely to be in September 2010 taking the 'easiest' route.
